Travelling by Bus

I always used to wonder how it would be to travel for a long distance and for a large stretch of time, would it be the same level of tiredness as that of train or would it be way lesser than I imagine it to be. So I decide to travel by both bus and train in a same week. I plan a to trip by bus and go for online bus ticket booking services and the fro journey by train, as usual by irctc website.

There’s a romance in almost every journey you plan to do, be it by train or by bus. Many travellers I know are mostly passionate about either trains or buses but not both of them. However I love road trips, and enjoy more of them. But I’m more of a train traveller. Give me a choice between a bus and a train, I would definitely give the bus a miss and instead take the train. Because roads in India are bad and bumpy that is usually not my cup of tea. But these days, I’m slowly tilting towards bus journeys – the convenience you get, the ease of booking tickets on the go, and more over there is no tatkal quota in bus services.

There’s something secretive about a bus journey. I remember me going to the bus stand in Bangalore a couple of years ago and booking up the next available bus to Hyderabad on an instance. Or heading to Mumbai on a bus from Bangalore and deciding to go to Indore on the last minute by booking and picking up a bus from there. If you actually see the heart of India lies within its small towns and villages and if you want to discover the true India by its nooks and corners, then buses are your best solution.

I was surfing through some online busticket booking service websites, of which some are the leading bus booking services. So I was looking to buy a ticket to my brother. That was when I got all fascinated to know that there are more than 80,000 routes in India that they have mapped on Indian roads of which 3500 routes are from Bangalore. Now, that’s something you look out for. In this fascination I forgot to book my brother’s ticket and started playing and fooling around with the destinations that they offered. I was thinking to go to Coorg to get a breather from the heat in Bangalore. If you want to head somewhere for a quick weekend then buses are here for your rescue. Book instant tickets with ease to anywhere in India through the best online bus service providers.
